Many people have always had a dream to play cello, to play for fun and enjoyment or to play professionally. Regardless of your dream, it can be fulfilled…all you need to do is take the first step.
Having private lessons can be daunting, whether it's your very first lesson or you wish to pick up where you left off, don’t worry I can help you!
I have studied at the School of Music at the University of Queensland and now live in Hobart ready to start at the Conservatorium of Music. I've played in orchestras around Queensland and bands, musicals and records. I absolutely love playing all types of music whether it is Celtic, Jazz, Rock, Classical or Contemporary.
I believe the most important goal in my teaching is to create a safe place for learning and performing. A space where there is no judgment and negativity, but constructive growth and information.
I have taught in many schools as a tutor and guest cello teacher, I have instructed at various music camps and have been a resident specialist cello teacher at a respected Brisbane Music School. I've had extensive experience with beginners of ALL ages and have taught up to tertiary level.
